The Fairs Shield is a competition of 32 world club teams that were awarded platinum fair play status in the premier league of that country during the season. It was first held in 2010 being won by Braga. In 2011 PAOK won the tournament and in 2012 it was won by Santos.
2012 Edition[]
Of every team awarded gold FairPlay status, every team went through continental playoffs. Eventually 12 teams from Europe, 6 teams from Asia, 6 teams from Americas, 6 teams from Africa and 2 teams from Oceania advanced to the tournament.
